Terms of service

Your account

Give accurate details, keep your password and API keys safe, and tell us if you think someone else is using your account. You're responsible for activity under your account, including through your API keys. Each person gets one free trial.

Free trial and automatic renewal

• Every plan starts with a 30-day free trial that includes 50 sounds on Indie and 100 on Studio. You need a payment method to start it.
• Unless you cancel before the trial ends, your subscription starts automatically and your card is charged the plan's price (monthly or yearly, as you chose). It then renews at the same interval until you cancel.
• You can cancel any time in Plan & credits → Manage billing. Canceling during the trial means you won't be charged. Canceling later stops future renewals, and your plan keeps working until the end of the period you paid for.
• Payments aren't refundable for partial periods, except where the law requires it.
• If we change a plan's price, we'll tell you before it applies to your next renewal.

Credits

• Each sound, including each variation, uses 1 credit. If a sound fails, its credit is returned.
• Monthly credits stay valid for one extra month, then expire. Trial credits expire when the trial ends.
• Purchased credit packs don't expire, but you need an active plan or trial to use them.
• Credits have no cash value and can't be transferred or refunded.

Your sounds

Your prompts are yours. Sounds you make come with the license described on the license page. Sounds are generated by AI and may resemble other sounds, so we can't promise they're unique. You're responsible for how you use them.

Acceptable use

Don't use Blipsmith to break the law, infringe others' rights, or imitate real people's voices. Don't try to get around limits, credits or free-trial rules, overload or attack the service, or scrape it. We may suspend or close accounts that break these terms.

The service

We work to keep Blipsmith available and your sounds safe, but the service is provided “as is”, without warranties. To the extent the law allows, our total liability to you is limited to what you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. We may change or discontinue features, and we'll give reasonable notice of changes that affect what you pay for.
